Pre-Race Information

• Operating Hours: 10:00 – 18:00 (Race pack collection is available until 21:00)
• Location: SETEC (3104 Nambusunhwan-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul)

All participants must collect their own race bibs from the Expo at SETEC.
Race bib collection on race day is not available, and the Expo will close promptly at 9:00 PM on Saturday,October 31.
Race bibs cannot be collected by another person on your behalf.
All participants are required to bring a valid passport or government-issued photo ID for identity verification at the Expo.
During race week, all participants will receive an email containing their bib number.
Please bring this email (printed or digital) to the Expo and present it to the staff at packet pick-up to help speed up the process.
If you lose or forget your email, you can look up your race number at the information monitors available on-site.
Traffic Control
• Traffic will be restricted along the race course during the event. Supporters, family members, and participants are advised to use the subway and public transportation.
• Please check traffic control details on the JTBC Seoul Marathon website.

Parking
• Traffic around the venue will be restricted on race day.
• Parking near the venue is not allowed. Please use public transportation.
• Nearby subway stations : Start area ► World Cup Stadium Station (Line 6)
Finish area ► Full Marathon : Mongchontoseong Station (Peace Gate) (Line 8) / 10K : Yeouido Park Station (Lines 5 and 9)
Start Location
Sangam World Cup Park (Full Marathon and 10K start at the same location)
• Nearest Subway Station: World Cup Stadium Station (Line 6), Exit 1 or 2
• Please allow sufficient time to walk from the station to the start area (approximately 10–15 minutes).
• Detailed start area access and corral information will be provided prior to race day.
What to Bring
• Race bib (with timing chip)
• Personal belongings (bag drop available)
• Race bibs will not be reissued. Runners who do not wear their bib will be disqualified.
• Course changes are not allowed. If you run a different course than assigned, your result will not be recognized.
Bag Drop Guidelines
A baggage storage service will be available on race day.
• Drop-off Location: Near the start area (Sangam World Cup Park)
• Drop-off Time: From 05:30 to 07:00
Please ensure all bags are deposited before the designated closing time. (* Recommended by 06:30 to mitigate site congestion)
• Pick-up Location: Full Marathon: Finish area (Jamsil Sports Complex) / 10K: Finish area (Yeouido Park)
After finishing the race, participants can collect their bags at the designated baggage claim area.
• Please note
- Only the official baggage bag provided by the organizer will be accepted.
- Baggage trucks will transport your belongings from the start to the finish area.
- Do not place fragile items, valuables, important documents, electronic devices, or cash in your baggage.
- The organizer reserves the right to inspect any baggage if requested by authorities or security personnel.
- The organizer is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings.
Bag Drop Procedure
STEP 1 Go to your division’s baggage drop truck.
STEP 2 Place your assigned number on both bib and bag drop bag.
STEP 3 Present bib to retrieve your bag at the finish line.
During the Race
Race Course and Distance Markings
• Traffic along the race course will be controlled. Participants must not continue race in sections where traffic control has been ended.
• The organizers are not responsible for any accidents that occur if runners continue in such areas.
Drinks and Snacks
• Water : every 5 km
• Sports drink : every 5 km from 15 km
• 10 km Course : drink station at 5 km
• No alcohol during the race
• Sponge stations : every 5 km from 7.5 km
• Special drinks : invited & elite athletes only
• Snacks : 20 km, 25 km, 30 km
Medical
• Medical care is prepared for the marathoners during the race.
* Participants must be aware that the organizers are not responsible for any further medical care except first aid.
• Ambulance and medical booth is prepared throughout the course. Race Patrols who can give first aid service is prepared.
• If you have any health problems, please ask race marshals or race patrols for help.
• Immoderate running may cause accidents.
Toilet
Runners can use toilets located at various points on the course.
Retiring the Race
• If you are unable to continue running, please board the shuttle bus.
• After boarding the shuttle bus, remove the chip attached to your bib and receive a stamp for sncks.
• Upon arrival at the finish area, please collect your personal belongings.
Staffs and Volunteers
• Approximately 2,000 race staff and volunteers will assist with the event.
• If you have any questions, please ask race staff or volunteers wearing staff lanyards.
Emergency Vehicle Cooperation
Please be aware that emergency vehicles may need to pass through the course in the event of an accident.

Notes for Finish
• Participants and spectators may have different routes; please follow the directions of race staff.
• The finish area has many restricted zones. Please follow all instructions from race staff.
• The start and finish locations are different. Please aware of this information.
Records and Awards
Official Record
Participants’ official times will be recorded based on Net Time.
Record Measurement and Chip Return
• Official timing is based on Net Time, measured from the moment you cross the start line.
• The JTBC Seoul Marathon uses the ChronoTrack system, a disposable electronic timing system.
• Removing, folding, or damaging the timing chip attached to your bib may result in no recorded time.
• For accurate timing, please attach your bib clearly visible on the front of your body.
• The timing chip is disposable and does not need to be returned after the race.
• The timing chip is attached to the back of the participant’s bib.
Masters Awards Ceremony
• Full Marathon Category
(On-site awards are given only for overall winners)
1-1) Overall : Top 3 men and women (Net Time)
1-2) Age Group : Top 3 in each age group (Net Time)
• 10K Category (No overall awards)
2-1) Age Group: Top 3 men and women in each age group (Net Time)
• Notes
- The overall winner will be excluded from the age group awards, and there will be no subsequent awards.
- Age group winners will not be awarded on-site : certificates and prizes will be mailed after the event (details to be announced on the official website).
- If there are 10 or more finishers in an age group, awards will be given based on that group. If fewer than 10, awards will be based on comparison with the adjacent age groups (Net Time).
• Race Rules
Participants who start in a group earlier than their assigned group, or who do not meet the participation criteria for the JTBC Seoul Marathon Masters, will be excluded from official rankings and awards. The JTBC Seoul Marathon strictly prohibits the transfer or purchase of race entries. Any participant found competing under someone else’s name will be disqualified and may face sanctions, including bans from future events.
Instruction and Final Announcement
Instruction
1. On-site registration on race day is not allowed.
2. Only runners who have completed registration are eligible to participate. Proxy participation is strictly prohibited under any circumstances.
3. Altering or tampering with your bib number, or participating without a bib, may result in penalties or disqualification in future races.
4. All participants are responsible for their own health and running ability.
5. Participants with health issues should not take part in the race.
*Runners experiencing injuries or physical problems should immediately stop the race and seek assistance from race officials, referees, or medical staff.
6. Only emergency first aid will be provided in case of accidents. The organizer assumes no further medical liability beyond this. Emergency incidents will be handled within the limits of the organizer’s insurance coverage.
7. Please be sure to write your emergency contact information on your bib.
8. Registration fees will be collectively reported to the National Tax Service after the event.
9. Alcohol consumption and smoking are strictly prohibited within the race venue and course.
Insurance
1. The organizers will enroll all participants in an accident insurance plan and deploy safety personnel and ambulances to respond to injuries and other emergencies during the race.
2. In the event of injury or an accident during the race, only first aid and compensation within the coverage limits of the insurance policy will be provided. The organizers bear no responsibility beyond what is covered by the insurance.
3. Insurance coverage for race participants is as follows:
* Race Day : Only incidents reported to the race office on the day of the race will be covered.
* After the Event : Incidents must be reported to the race office within 3 days after the event. (Claims submitted after this period will not be accepted.)
